Build with me

TradeBroker started withone question.

“What are the top ten Pokémon investments right now?”

TradeBroker began with a question posted by a stranger in a Discord server. I started building a spreadsheet to answer it responsibly, then developed an investibility scoring model. That simple question eventually grew into a much larger platform for pricing, portfolio intelligence, scanning, trading, inventory, liquidity, and store operations.

The origin

Every answer uncovered another missing part of the system.

What it became

One question became an operating system for collectibles.

The useful shape of TradeBroker is not any single feature. It is the connection between market data, physical inventory, collector decisions, trades, and store operations.

01

Portfolio intelligence

Track ownership, value, performance, and market movement.

02

Scanning and identification

Recognize cards, printings, graded items, and binder pages.

03

Trading infrastructure

Match collectors and evaluate trades using current market value.

04

Store operations

Handle inventory, cycle counts, pricing controls, and customer workflows.

05

Liquidity and valuation

Understand not only what an item is worth, but how realistically it can move.

06

Marketplace foundation

Support safer transactions between collectors and stores.

Behind the product

TradeBroker is the product. The other systems keep it alive.

I am not building five companies. I am building the infrastructure required to operate one serious product securely and reliably.

AutoRMM manages machines, SecWatch watches the security boundary, and TensorBreeze handles private GPU infrastructure. When supporting systems are useful beyond TradeBroker, I share them as open source once their boundaries are ready.

Why I’m still building it

This is the longest I have stayed with a personal project.

I usually enjoy finding a problem, solving it, and moving on. TradeBroker has been different.

Every solved problem has exposed a deeper one, and the product has continued to become more useful rather than less interesting. That persistence is the clearest sign I have that this is the product I intend to grow.

The current reality

The product is large. The audience is still small.

The challenge is no longer whether the product can be built. It is learning how to introduce it to collectors, stores, and partners in a way that makes its value immediately clear.

Already built
  • A large working platform
  • Pricing and portfolio tools
  • Scanning and AI workflows
  • Store and inventory systems
  • Private production infrastructure
  • A commercial entity and brand
Still to prove
  • Customer acquisition
  • Store onboarding
  • Messaging and positioning
  • A repeatable sales process
  • Retention and product-market fit
  • The right initial market segment

Where people could matter

A small, unusually capable team—when the time is right.

I am not posting invented job openings. These are the areas where I expect the right early people to have the most leverage.

First likely need

Sales and business development

Someone who can turn a complicated, powerful product into a clear story for stores, collectors, and strategic partners.

  • Understands collectibles or enthusiast markets
  • Builds relationships without generic software sales
  • Likes early-stage ambiguity
  • Can work directly with a technical founder
Over time

Product and engineering

People who enjoy large interconnected systems rather than isolated tickets.

  • Full-stack product engineering
  • Marketplace, pricing, and data systems
  • Computer vision and AI
  • Store onboarding and product design
  • Infrastructure and reliability

How I work

What working with me would probably feel like.

  • I build quickly and think in systems.
  • I care about useful products, not theater.
  • I prefer clear ownership and direct communication.
  • I protect technical people from random noise and shifting priorities.
  • I value people who can challenge an idea and still help execute it.
  • I am not trying to build a giant company for the sake of it.

TradeBroker is not

  • A pitch deck waiting for engineers
  • A generic card marketplace clone
  • A thin AI wrapper
  • One of several companies competing for my attention
  • A promise that everything is figured out

It is

  • A substantial working product
  • A company being built deliberately
  • A deep technical and market problem
  • A long-term commitment
  • A chance for the right early people to shape what comes next

A soft invitation

Interested in what this could become?

I am not broadly hiring today. I am always interested in meeting thoughtful people who understand collectibles, marketplaces, infrastructure, data, or the work of turning a large product into a real business.
